Zap Stack

Stack the falling blocks to fill rows. A full row disappears. Don't let the blocks reach the top!

Controls

• Solo: ← → move · ↑ turn · ↓ faster · Space drops it to the bottom · 1 2 3 answer · Esc pause
• Two players: left uses A D, W, S, Space, and 1 2 3. Right uses the arrows, Enter, and 8 9 0.
• Tablet: use the buttons under your board and tap an answer.

Power Panel

• Answer the question beside your board any time. Spelling questions have a 🔊 button to hear the word.
• Fast and right earns a power-up. Right but slower earns bonus points. A miss shows the answer, and that question comes back soon.
• 3 fast answers in a row (the 3 dots) earn a Mega Zap.

Power-ups

• ⚡ Line Zap: the bottom row disappears.
• 🧱 Hole Patch: fills the gaps in your lowest row with holes.
• 🐢 Slow-Mo: blocks fall at half speed for 10 seconds.
• 📏 Long Bar: your next piece is the straight 4-block piece, perfect for a deep gap.
• 🌩️ Mega Zap: the bottom 2 rows disappear.

Levels and scoring

• Every 5 rows you clear (zapped rows count too), you level up and blocks fall faster.
• Clearing more rows at once scores more: 1 row 100, 2 rows 300, 3 rows 500, 4 rows 800 (times your level).
• Dropping a piece with Space adds a few points too.

Two players

• Clear 2, 3, or 4 rows at once to send 1, 2, or 4 gray junk rows to the other player. The red bar shows junk coming at you.
• Clearing rows yourself cancels junk headed your way. Grown-ups send kids half as much.
• If you top out first, keep answering questions for bonus points. When both are out, the higher score wins.
